Kendra Smith is a freelance journalist with over 15 years’ experience in publishing. She started her career in Sydney selling advertising space in the late 80s. She has lived and worked in London and Sydney, working full time for Cosmopolitan in Sydney and OK! and the BBC’s Eve magazine in London.

She has written for Woman & Home, Delicious, Junior and New Woman including a humorous parenting column for Prima Baby. More recently she has worked for a PR company running workshops on how to write a decent press release.

Born in sunny Singapore, she was educated in sub-zero Scotland, including Aberdeen University. She has lived in Australia three times: the last time with three boys under eight. Today she lives in Surrey with her family. She has one previous novel, Jacaranda Wife, which hit the #1 spot in the Australian Kindle Charts, and reached the top 100 in the US Kindle Charts.
