Paula Robinson Rossouw Former Sunday Times and Sunday Telegraph design columnist Paula Robinson Rossouw joins A for Authors with her debut novel. OIL ON CANVAS opens with a fatal accident in New York that draws a reluctant artist and the bereaved husband into the victim’s enigmatic and sensual Parisian past, revealing a connection between them that defies time. Paula is currently hard at work on the sequel, WHITE FEATHER.

Paula wrote “The Project” for The Sunday Times and “The Room Planner” for The Sunday Telegraph. Both weekly columns generated lively reader response and a very loyal following. She also wrote the monthly “Design Masterclass” for Move Or Improve? magazine and has contributed articles on interior design and home-improvement to many publications over the years.

Ebury Publishing commissioned Paula to write a book about space reconfiguration. THE ROOM PLANNER: 100 PRACTICAL PLANS FOR YOUR HOME is also available in French and Russian.

Paula was born in Montreal to British parents. She grew up in Los Angeles, New York and London, was educated at the Lycée Français and speaks fluent French, passable Italian and rusty Russian. She studied Psychology at London University. She has lived in Australia, France, Singapore and South Africa, and now divides her time between London and Kennebunkport, Maine with her husband and two Jack Russell terriers.
