Lisa Brace is a journalist and PR director. She has worked across a variety of media, and currently writes features about the South East mainly on food and drink (two of her passions). She’s an advocate for inclusivity in culture and ran a year of culture in West Sussex in 2019 where she oversaw 800 events. She is also the co-founder of Sussex Writing Retreats, retreats which cover an exciting range of topics with industry experts.
Whilst running the Year of Culture, Lisa met with many incredibly talented novelists who told her to stop talking about it, and get writing. When 2020 came around she knuckled down and wrote Star Survivor, after a surreal dream where she was told the entire plot by Simon Cowell sitting on a beach.
She lives in West Sussex with her husband, two kids and the prerequisite of any writer, a dog.
